KARAMBO
In partnership with Raw Materials own station Izuba, Karambo is a station firmly focussed on improving the cup quality, processing techniques and increased profitability potential for the producers.
PROCESS
All cherry is hand- sorted before a pre-pulp float, where any under ripe or damaged cherries are removed.
The selected cherries are pulped without the use of water. The head straight to the African raised beds where they are intensively hand picked throughout the drying phase. The drying takes an average of 30 days.
The slow and controlled drying process leads way to a very sweet, fruity and balanced cup.
